520 _aThe main activities carried out by the Institute in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines during 2018 are identified, with respect to the needs and interests of the country, strengthening issues such as conservación de suelos, gestión de agua, gobernanza y resiliencia contra el cambio climático. Likewise, work was done to improve alliances, as well as support for the Network of rural women producers and the introduction of two new varieties of coffee from Costa Rica, in order to promote the coffee industry. Finally, drip technology was implemented to carry out irrigation and Perone Hive technology to improve the beekeeping industry.
520 _aSe identifican las principales actividades realizadas por el Instituto en San Vicente y las Granadinas durante el 2018, con respecto a las necesidades e interés del país, fortaleciendo en temas de conservación de suelos, gestión de agua, gobernanza y resiliencia contra el cambio climático. Asimismo, se trabajo en mejorar las alianzas, así como en el apoyo a la Red de mujeres productoras rurales y en la introducción de dos nuevas variedades de café proveniente de Costa Rica, con el fin de impulsar la industria cafetalera. Finalmente, se implementó la tecnología de goteo, para realizar los riegos y la tecnología Perone Hive, para mejorar la industria apícola.
