520			_aThe activities carried out by the Trinidad and Tobago Delegation of 2022 are identified, focus to needs and interests of the country such as; participation in the Ninth Summit of the Americas, allowed talke about food insecurity, agriculture, climate change and recovery from the Covid pandemic, also co-organized the event entitled “CEO Summit Private-Sector Roundtable on the Food Crisis” and a panel discussion entitled “The Global Food Crisis and the Americas: Challenges and Response”, and a meeting about final policy national declaration, named “Our Sustainable Green Future”; it took part in three major plenary and panel events at the World Food Prize Foundation’s Borlaug Dialogue; provided robust technical and logistical support for major activities related to the control and prevention of African Swine Fever (ASF); it established new strategic partnerships to foster the sharing of knowledge and resources to drive agricultural development in the hemisphere; it has accommodated the Regional Fund for Agricultural Technology (FONTAGRO), providing administrative and strategic support to familiarize the organization with the rules and procedures of the Institute.
520			_aSe identifican las actividades que realizó la Delegación de Trinidad y Tobago en el 2022, enfocadas a necesidades e intereses del país tales como; participación en la IX Cumbre de las Américas que permitió conversar sobre inseguridad alimentaria, agricultura, cambio climático y recuperación de la pandemia delCovid, además co-organizó el evento titulado "Mesa redonda del sector privado de la Cumbre de CEO sobre la crisis alimentaria” y un panel conversatorio titulado “La Crisis Alimentaria Global y las Américas: Desafíos y Respuestas”, y una reunión sobre la declaración final de la política nacional, denominada “Nuestro Futuro Verde Sostenible”; participó en tres importantes eventos plenarios y paneles en el Diálogo Borlaug de la Fundación Premio Mundial de la Alimentación; proporcionó apoyo técnico y logístico sólido para las principales actividades relacionadas con el control y la prevención de la peste porcina africana (PPA); estableció nuevas alianzas estratégicas para fomentar el intercambio de conocimientos y recursos para impulsar el desarrollo agrícola en el hemisferio; ha dado cabida al Fondo Regional de Tecnología Agropecuaria (FONTAGRO), brindando apoyo administrativo y estratégico para familiarizar la organización con las normas y procedimientos del Instituto.
