520 _aThe main activities carried out by the Institute in the Bahamas during 2013 are identified, with respect to the needs and interests of the country, strengthening issues such as plant health, financing, workshops, agribusiness, scholarships, project management, food security and animal nutrition. Likewise, technical assistance was provided in trade, aquaponics, livestock, planting and food safety. Finally, technical cooperation was provided for the improvement of peasant organizations, backyard gardening, inclusion of women and youth in agriculture.
520 _a Se identifican las principales actividades realizadas por el Instituto en Bahamas durante el 2013, con respecto a las necesidades e intereses del país, fortaleciendo en temas como sanidad vegetal, financiamiento, talleres, agronegocios, becas, gestión de proyectos, seguridad alimentaria y nutrición animal. Asimismo, se brindo asistencia técnica en comercio, acuaponía, ganadería, siembra e inocuidad de alimentos. Finalmente, se dio cooperación técnica para el mejoramiento de las organizaciones campesinas, jardinería de tras patio, inclusión de las mujeres y jóvenes en la agricultura.
