520			_aEl proyecto se desarrolla con el objetivos de promover la adopción de medidas de mitigación del cambio climático y de adaptación, así como la reducción de riesgos ante desastres naturales, en apoyo para controlar la roya del café en América Central y República Dominicana. Se plantea el desarrollo de modelos de producción de café más sostenibles en los ámbitos social, económico y ambiental para facilitar la adaptación a la realidad actual, asimismo se abordan acciones tendentes a gestionar financiamiento para enfrentar los problemas de la caficultura en la Región. Se presentan los logros de capacitación enfocados al cultivo del café con sus procesos e innovación de modelos tecnológicos, aportes de investigación gracias a sus experiencias prácticas, asimismo se colabora en programas de inversión a población vulnerable para crear un impacto positivo en materia de competitividad y sostenibilidad.
520			_aThe project is developed with the objective of promoting the adoption of climate change mitigation and adaptation measures, as well as risk reduction in natural disasters, in support of controlling coffee rust in Central America and the Dominican Republic. The development of more sustainable coffee production models in the social, economic and environmental spheres is proposed to facilitate adaptation to the current reality, as well as actions aimed at managing financing to face the problems of coffee growing in the Region. Training achievements focused on the cultivation of coffee are presented with its processes and innovation of technological models, research contributions thanks to its practical experiences, also it collaborates in investment programs for vulnerable populations to create a positive impact on competitiveness and sustainability.
