520 _aEl IICA brinda sus servicios de cooperación técnica de manera oportuna, pertinente y según las necesidades de sus países miembros en la forma de soluciones innovadoras destinadas a lograr el desarrollo agropecuario y rural de las Américas. Para ello el Instituto promueve el intercambio de conocimientos, saberes y experiencias; el fortalecimiento de capacidades técnicas e institucionales; la provisión de asesoramiento para la implementación de procesos estratégicos y el diseño de políticas públicas; la articulación de instancias multi-institucionales y el ejercicio de su secretariado técnico; el desarrollo, facilitación e implementación de herramientas y metodologías; y la gestión de proyectos vinculados al sector agrícola, entre otras acciones de cooperación.
520 _aIICA addresses the needs of its member countries through the delivery of timely, relevant technical cooperation services and the provision of innovative solutions aimed at fostering agricultural and rural development in the Americas. To this end, the Institute promotes the sharing of knowledge, skills and experiences; technical and institutional capacity building; advisory services for the implementation of strategic processes and public policymaking; coordination of the work of multi-institutional entities and the hosting of their technical secretariat; the development, facilitation and implementation of tools and methodologies; and the management of projects linked to the agriculture sector, among other cooperation actions.
520 _aL’IICA offre ses services de coopération technique de manière opportune, pertinente et selon les besoins de ses pays membres, sous forme de solutions innovantes destinées à poursuivre le développement agricole et rural des Amériques. C’est pourquoi l’Institut promeut l’échange de connaissances, de savoirs et d’expériences, le renforcement des capacités techniques et institutionnelles, la prestation de conseils en vue de la mise en oeuvre de processus stratégiques et l’élaboration de politiques publiques ainsi que la coordination d’instances multi-institutions et l’exercice de son secrétariat technique, le développement, la facilitation et la mise en oeuvre d’outils et de méthodologies et la gestion de projets liés au secteur agricole, entre autres actions de coopération.
