En: Agronomía Costarricense (Costa Rica) v.10(1-2) p.1-11Resumen: Eight P. vulgaris cv. of a bushy growth habit were sown on 23 May, 30 May, 6 June and 13 June (1984) 0.25 m either side of rows of pruned coffee at a rate of 15 seeds/m. No fertilizers or pesticides were applied. Highest yield were produced by the earliest sowing (May 23) and the lowest from the last 2 sowings (in June). The black cv. Negro Huasteco, BAC-112 and Porrillo Sintético and the red cv. BAC-789 gave the highest yields
