The main activities carried out by the Institute in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines during 2017 are identified, with respect to the needs and interests of the country, strengthening issues such as beekeeping, sustainability, fishing, governance, family farming, perma-beekeeping, through of the use of Perone Hive technology and in resilience against climate change. Likewise, work was done to improve the coffee value chain and the use of ferrocement tanks, for the use of rainwater for irrigation. Finally, support was given to the inclusion of women in agricultural issues and to combat drug theft.

Se identifican las principales actividades realizadas por el Instituto en Saint Vincent and the Grenadines durante el 2017, con respecto a las necesidades e interés del país, fortaleciendo en temas como apicultura, sostenibilidad, pesca, gobernanza, agricultura familiar, perma-apicultura, por medio del uso de la tecnología Perone Hive y en la resiliencia contra el cambio climático. Asimismo, se trabajó en mejorar la cadena del valor del café y en el empleo de tanques de ferrocemento, para el uso de agua de lluvia para el riego. Finalmente, se apoyó en la inclusión de las mujeres en temas agrícolas y combatir el hurto de medicamentos.
