It presents the IICA Belize Country Strategy, which is an instrument that sorts and prioritizes the technical cooperation that the institute offers to the country. The development of this strategy, a series of meetings and interviews were carried out, with both public and private sector and academia. In these sessions the following were analyzed: Review of current policies, priorities and objectives of the government for agricultural and rural development, Identification of the major challenges and opportunities for Belize's agricultural and rural sector, Identification of IICA's major capacities to deliver its technical cooperation services effectively and Elaboration of the Country Strategy 2011-2014.

Presenta la Estrategia País IICA Belice, que es un instrumento que ordena y prioriza la cooperación técnica que el instituto brinda al país. Para el desarrollo de esta estrategia, se llevaron a cabo una serie de reuniones y entrevistas, tanto con el sector público como privado y la academia. En estas sesiones se analizaron: Revisión de las políticas, prioridades y objetivos actuales del gobierno para el desarrollo agrícola y rural, Identificación de los principales desafíos y oportunidades para el sector agrícola y rural de Belice, Identificación de las principales capacidades del IICA para la prestación efectiva de sus servicios de cooperación técnica y Elaboración de la Estrategia de País 2011-2014.
