The AgREADY project aims to develop a climate-responsive agricultural sector in the Caribbean, the study is divided in 3 chapters: Chapter 1 identifies climate change as significant threat and presents a mixed-methods approach to address these challenges. Chapter 2 analyzes the economic and market barriers affecting the agriculture sector, using the Input-Process-Output (IPO) framework. Chapter 3 focuses on analyzing barriers and proposing market development strategies for the vegetable/fruit and livestock value chains using a structured questionnaire to gather data on climate resilient practices. Overall, the project seeks to attract private sector investments and rebrand Caribbean agriculture as "low-emissions" to achieve socio-economic development in the region.
