The main activities carried out by the Institute in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines are identified, during the period from 2010 to 2017, with respect to the needs and interests of the country, strengthening issues such as biosafety, good agricultural practices, risk management , water management, soil management, resilience against climate change, agribusiness, health and food safety. Likewise, technical assistance was provided to women for their inclusion in agriculture. Finally, work was done to improve the value chains of vegetables, poultry and pigs, in addition to the control of animal diseases.

Se identifican las principales actividades realizadas por el Instituto en San Vicente y las Granadinas, durante el período comprendido desde el año 2010 al 2017, con respecto a las necesidades e intereses del país, fortaleciendo en temas como bioseguridad, buenas prácticas agrícolas, manejo de riesgos, manejo de agua, manejo del suelo, resiliencia contra el cambio climático, agronegocios, sanidad e inocuidad alimentaria. Asimismo, se brindó asistencia técnica a mujeres para su inclusión en la agricultura. Finalmente, se trabajó en mejorar las cadenas de valor de hortalizas, aves y cerdos, además, del control de enfermedades de animales.
