The main activities carried out by the Institute in Saint Kitts and Nevis during 2012 are identified, with respect to the needs and interests of the country, strengthening topics such as technology, agricultural development, production, market, food security, business management and dissemination of information. Finally, work was done on the use of shade houses, the inclusion of young people and the value chains of tubers, roots, cassava and sweet potato.

Se identifican las principales actividades realizadas por el Instituto en Santo Kitts y Nevis durante el 2012, con respecto a las necesidades e intereses del país, fortaleciendo en temas como tecnología, desarrollo agrícola, producción, mercado, seguridad alimentaria, gestión empresarial y difusión de la información. Finalmente, se trabajó en el uso de casa sombra, inclusión de los jóvenes y en las cadenas de valor de tubérculos, raíces, yuca y camote.
