The main activities carried out by the Institute in Antigua and Barbuda during 2012 are identified, with respect to the needs and interests of the country, strengthening issues such as food security, technologies, marketing, agricultural development and the use of biodigesters. Finally, the inclusion of young people in agriculture, in waste management and in the value chains of pigs and small ruminants was supported.

Se identifican las principales actividades realizadas por el Instituto en Antigua y Barbuda durante el 2012, con respecto a las necesidades e intereses del país, fortaleciendo en temas como seguridad alimentaria, tecnologías, comercialización, desarrollo de la agricultura y en el uso de biodigestores. Finalmente, se apoyó la inclusión de los jóvenes en la agricultura, en los manejos de los desechos y en las cadenas de valor de cerdos y pequeños rumiantes.
