The main activities carried out by the Institute in the Bahamas during 2012 are identified, with respect to the needs and interests of the country, strengthening issues such as aquaculture, egg production, livestock, marketing, agricultural development, veterinary medicine, food processing, plant health, health animal, through the Codex Alimentarius. Finally, it was supported by the inclusion of international standards, gender equality, inclusion of artisan women and pest control, such as black sigatoka.

Se identifican las principales actividades realizadas por el Instituto en Bahamas durante el 2012, con respecto a las necesidades e intereses del país, fortaleciendo en temas como acuícola, ovoproducción, ganadería, comercialización, desarrollo agrícola, veterinaria, procesamiento de alimentos, sanidad vegetal, sanidad animal, por medio del Codex Alimentarius. Finalmente, se apoyó en la inclusión de estándares internacionales, en la igualdad de género, inclusión de las mujeres artesanas y en el control de plagas, como la sigatoka negra.
