The main activities carried out by the Institute in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines during 2012 are identified, with respect to the needs and interests of the country, strengthening issues such as financing, animal health, rural development, sanitation, poultry farming, biotechnology, competitiveness, agribusiness, trade and inclusion of women in agriculture. Finally, technical support was provided to improve vegetable value chains, animal disease control, and pest control, such as black sigatoka.

Se identifican las principales actividades realizadas por el Instituto en San Vicente y las Granadinas durante el 2012, con respecto a las necesidades e intereses del país, fortaleciendo en temas como financiamiento, salud animal, desarrollo rural, sanidad, avicultura, biotecnología, competitividad, agronegocios, comercio e inclusión de las mujeres en la agricultura. Finalmente, se brindo apoyo técnico en mejorar las cadenas de valor de las hortalizas, control de enfermedades de los animales y el control de plagas, como la sigatoka negra.
