The main activities carried out by the Institute in Dominica during 2020 are identified, with respect to the needs and interests of the country, identifying problems in family farming, food security and agricultural planning. Likewise, among the achievements carried out, the progress of the different projects implemented, the extension activities in the dissemination of information with publications, forums, training and research are recognized. Finally, for the recovery of the rural sector due to post-COVID-19, support was provided to develop an agricultural policy framework that will promote the transformation of the agricultural sector, with a focus on building climate resilience.

Se identifican las principales actividades realizadas por el Instituto en Dominica durante el 2020, con respecto a las necesidades e interés del país, identificando problemáticas en agricultura familiar, seguridad alimentaria y planificación agrícola . Asimismo entre los logros ejecutados se reconocen los avances de los diferentes proyectos implementados, las actividades de extensión en difusión de información con publicaciones, foros, capacitaciones e investigaciones. Finalmente para la recuperación del sector rural por el post-COVID-19, se brindó apoyo para desarrollar un marco de política agrícola que impulsará la transformación del sector agrícola, con un enfoque en la construcción de resiliencia climática.
