The main activities carried out by the Institute in Saint Kitts and Nevis during 2019 are identified, with respect to the needs and interests of the country, strengthening relations between the public and private sectors, food security and safety, apiculture and pest control in the citrus. Likewise, it contributed to the development of agrotourism, the incorporation of technology in agricultural processes, and good agricultural practices. Finally, support was given to agricultural and rural development, as well as the development of the mango production chain.

Se identifican las principales actividades realizadas por el Instituto en Saint Kitts y Nevis durante el 2019, con respecto a las necesidades e interés del país, fortaleciendo las relaciones del sector público y privado, seguridad e inocuidad alimentaria, apicultura y el control de plagas en los cítricos. Asimismo, se contribuyó en el desarrollo del agroturismo, la incorporación de la tecnología en procesos agrícolas, las buenas prácticas agrícolas. Finalmente, se apoyo en el desarrollo agrícola y rural, así como en el desarrollo de la cadena de producción del mango.
