The main activities carried out by the Institute in Canada during 2019 are identified, with respect to the needs and interests of the country, strengthening issues such as health and food safety, project financing, economic and sustainable development, through the use of credits carbon; In addition, it collaborated in the development of forest and rural farms. Likewise, work was done on the inclusion of technology in agriculture, such as a digital platform, big data and artificial intelligence (AI), in order to promote innovative products and processes. Finally, work was done on the inclusion of young people in the agricultural sector, on the transfer of knowledge among international students, through internships and research.

Se identifican las principales actividades realizadas por el Instituto en Canadá durante el 2019, con respecto a las necesidades e interés del país, fortaleciendo en temas como sanidad e inocuidad alimentaria, financiamiento de proyectos, en desarrollo económico y sostenible, por medio del uso de créditos carbono; además, se colaboró en el desarrollo de fincas forestales y rurales. Asimismo, se trabajo en la inclusión de tecnología en la agricultura, como una plataforma digital, big data e inteligencia artificial (IA), con el fin de promover productos y procesos innovadores. Finalmente, se trabajo en la inclusión de los jóvenes al sector agrícola, en la transferencia de conocimiento entre estudiantes internacionales, por medio de pasantías e investigaciones.
