Agrícola La Danta es una finca que destina el 42 % de su superficie a la producción de piña orgánica desde 2007; el resto de la propiedad se encuentra en áreas de conservación de bosque. En esta finca el cultivo de piña orgánica se ha realizado en suelos con baja fertilidad natural, por lo que se ha precisado de un manejo integrado de la nutrición de la planta, con el fin de cumplir con los estrictos estándares del mercado de exportación. |
