Recopila y presenta información relacionada con el Seminario: Dinámica de Poblaciones de Malezas y Control de Malezas en Soja, realizado en 1986 en Santa Fe, Argentina. Dicho evento permitió, por primera vez en el marco del PROCISUR, enfocar y discutir el tema de malezas como poblaciones dinámicas que desarrollan continuamente estrategias para invadir y perpetuarse en los más diversos ecosistemas. Conocer la biología poblacional de la maleza, como parte de un sistema de producción, y en este caso particular el de la soja, aumentará la eficiencia de las técnicas utilizadas para su control. El documento incluye los informes de Argentina, Bolivia, Brasil, Paraguay y Uruguay, integrantes de PROCISUR, en cuanto a la situación existente sobre la presencia y control de malezas en el cultivo de soja. Así mismo, se presentan distintos trabajos sobre estudios de casos que analizan el control de malezas que afectan al cultivo de soja bajo la óptica de la dínámica poblacional. Se incluye trabajos de un técnico inglés, Martin Mortimer titulado Ecología de poblaciones y el conocimiento de la maleza. (ACH) |
