Presenta un análisis autoevaluativo de las dificultades y ventajas encontradas en los seis países del Cono Sur en lo que se refiere a las etapas de planificación, ejecución, evaluación y utilización del enfoque de sistemas en la investigación agropecuaria. Establece a través de los trabajos y experiencias presentadas tres orientaciones específicas. Un primer grupo, donde se incluyen aquellos trabajos que se realizaron con el objetivo de identificar y clasificar los sistemas de producción existentes en áreas preestablecidas y con relativa homogeneidad ecológica. Por otro lado, están los grupos o instituciones que se encuentran abocados a la implementación de modelos físicos, fundamentalmente dentro de las estaciones experimentales y cuyo objetivo no sólo es la investigación, en lo que se refiere a integración de los conocimientos por rubro a nivel de sistema, sino que también funcionan como demostrativos. Es decir establecen un nexo entre investigación y transferencia de tecnología. Por último el tercer enfoque, no menos importante, es el de la utilización del análisis de sistemas de educación (ACH) |
