Este artículo comenta sobre como se llevó a cabo el trabajo, se diseñaron dos contenedores para facilitar el manejo del composteo, las variables utilizadas fueron: dimensiones de los contenedores, uso de los contenedores con y sin precomposteo y composteo con y sin lombrices. El material utilizado para el composteo fue todo aquello que una familia genera normalmente: desperdicios de cocina, estiércol de animales, cáscara de frutas, hojas de plantas entre otros. Para el composteo con lombrices se emplearon 100 gr. de la especie Eisenia foetida. El producto del composteo se utilizó para el cultivo de hortalizas en un invernadero rústico, con el fin de conocer la calidad de dicho producto. El experimento duró un año |
