Este documento presenta los resultados del Taller de Zonificación Agroclimática llevado a cabo con el fin de explicar una metodología para la recolección de datos para la elaboración de un perfil de estrategia de zonificación agroclimática en Jamaica e identificación de los recursos humanos que ayudarían en este proyecto. Como resultado de este taller se redactó una propuesta entregada al Banco Interamericano de Desarrollo (BID). Al adoptar las propuestas de zonificación se esperaba que las mismas ayudaran a resolver algunos problemas importantes relacionados con el desarrollo rural en Jamaica. ayudándose con las herramientas científicas en el uso de la planificación agrícola. |
