Se aborda el aprovechamiento eficiente de la biomasa a través de la incorporación de procesos tecnológicos, la utilización de los recursos biológicos con el doble desafío de impulsar el desarrollo económico y contribuir a una economía que enfrenta los desafíos ambientales actuales a partir del paradigma de la bioeconomía. Se presentan una introducción a los biocombustibles y proporciona información sobre su clasificación, productos a los cuales sustituyen y/o complementan y la economía multiproducto asociada a esta industria. Asimismo se analiza la situación actual en el 2020, el potencial y los fundamentos para que los distintos países de las Américas en promoción al uso de los biocombustibles. |

The efficient use of biomass is addressed through the incorporation of technological processes, the use of biological resources with the double challenge of promoting economic development and contributing to an economy that faces current environmental challenges based on the bioeconomy paradigm. They present an introduction to biofuels and provide information on their classification, products which they substitute and / or complement and the multiproduct economy associated with this industry. Likewise, the current situation in 2020, the potential and the foundations for the different countries of the Americas to promote the use of biofuels are analyzed. |
