EL IICA reconoce la necesidad de posicionar una plataforma de personas jóvenes, capaces de movilizar conocimientos y generar procesos innovadores en la región hemisférica, para un desarrollo pleno y sostenible desde los aspectos sociales, económicos, culturales, políticos y ambientales.<br/>Resulta de gran valor estimular el protagonismo de las personas jóvenes, ya que representan tanto los procesos de continuidad de las mejores prácticas, como otras ligadas a la innovación desde los nuevos retos que plantean las tecnologías, la interconectividad y la biodiversidad.<br/>Esta apuesta se propone potenciar las capacidades de las personas jóvenes en los territorios de las ruralidades, en pro del mejoramiento de sus condiciones de vida desde la dimensión económica, social, <br/>cultural y ambiental. Además, el interés de tener un impacto local, regional e internacional comprometen a la institución, a los países miembros y a las personas jóvenes a tener una actitud proactiva y visionaria del desarrollo agrícola en las ruralidades. |

IICA recognizes the need to implement a youth platform, focused on young people capable of transferring knowledge and generating innovative processes in the hemisphere, in order to achieve full and sustainable development from a social, economic, cultural, political and environmental perspective.<br/>Fostering a greater presence of young people is crucial, for they represent both the continuity of best practices and innovation, in the context of the new challenges brought about by technologies, interconnectivity and biodiversity.<br/>This project aims at boosting youth capacities in rural territories, in order to improve the living conditions from an economic, social, cultural and environmental perspective. Furthermore, it seeks to attain local, regional and international impact, supporting the Institute, the member countries and young people in their efforts to adopt a proactive, visionary approach to agricultural development in ruralities. |
