con el objetivo de promover la implementación de procesos y experiencias de cogestión de cuencas construidas en la subcuenca Aguas Calientes a la subcuenca del río Inalí y la subcuenca del río Musunce. En el estudio se utilizaron diversas metodologías, acorde a cada objetivo de la investigación, se utilizaron herramientas participativas (aplicación de indicadores para estimar manejo de cuencas de forma participativa, reunión con grupos focales, intercambio de experiencias), análisis estadísticos y SIG. Para impulsar el escalamiento, el eje en torno al cual tiene que girar un proceso de gestión conjunta en la subcuenca del río Inalí es la gestión integral del recurso hídrico y en la subcuenca del río Musunce es la gestión de riesgo a inundaciones y restauración en el largo plazo del río Musunce en ambas subcuencas estos ejes tienen que ser facilitado por una estructura que retome la organización comunitaria Existente, ampliando el comité de cuencas de Aguas Calientes con actores de la subcuenca Inalí y Musunce e insertando estás estructuras a las estructuras municipales (CAM y Concejos municipales). |

This project was conducted in the Aguas Calientes sub-watershed, Inalí and Musunce, Nicaragua, with the objective of promoting the implementation of processes and experiences in the co-management of watersheds constructed by Aguas Calientes in the sub-watersheds of the Inalí and Musunce rivers. In this study, several methodologies were used, according to each research objective, including several participation tools (e.g., application of indicators to estimate participative watershed management, focus group meetings, and exchange of experiences), statistical analysis, and Geographic Information Systems (GIS).The progress of co-management must revolve around the following axes: integrated management of water resources in the Inalí River sub-watershed and risk management of floods and long-term restoration Musunce River in the Musunce River sub-watershed. In both sub-watersheds, these axes must be facilitated by a structure that renews the existing community organization, and, thereby, strengthening the Aguas Calientes watershed committee with the actors of the Inalí and Musunce sub-watersheds and incorporating these organizations into the municipal organizations (CAM and Municipal Council). |
