The goal of this system is to better define the scope and responsibilities of supervision and follow-up of the work carried out by IICA. It also seeks to better coordinate the systems that govern relations among the different operating units. Volumen 1 entitled Conceptual and normative framework, describes the frame of reference, and the dimensions of the system and the institutional areas in which supervision and follow-up are carried out. Volume 2, entitled Means and instruments of supervision and follow-up, describes the means and instruments to be used presents the reporting forms used by the system, as well as the Follow-Up System for Ongoing Projects (SISPRE).
