The Inter-American Institute for Cooperation on Agriculture (IICA) has negotiated and approved two new projects, five addendums, and revisions of current projects with the Brazilian government and multilateral financing organizations. The portfolio covers various themes related to the Medium-Term Plan of the IICA and is prioritized by national and international institutions related to family farming, rural development policies, access to water, rural connectivity, digital innovation, climate change, biodiversity, cooperativism, gender, youth, sanitation, environmental, social and governance practices (ESG), productive chains, territorial development, animal biotechnology, agribusiness health, bioeconomy, and forest inventory. The IICA has partnered with organizations such as the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock, and Supply, the Ministry of Regional Development, and the Brazilian Agency for Cooperation. Additionally, the IICA has held virtual technical dialogues and organized a technical mission to Brazil by a group of 21 Paraguayans to learn about water resource management, among other activities. The IICA has also organized the Spanish Rural Women Award. El Instituto Interamericano de Cooperación para la Agricultura (IICA) ha negociado y aprobado dos nuevos proyectos, cinco adendas y revisiones de proyectos actuales con el Gobierno Brasileño y organismos multilaterales de financiamiento. El portafolio abarca varios temas relacionados con el Plan de Mediano Plazo del IICA y es priorizado por instituciones nacionales e internacionales relacionadas con agricultura familiar, políticas de desarrollo rural, acceso al agua, conectividad rural, innovación digital, cambio climático, biodiversidad, cooperativismo, género , juventud, saneamiento, prácticas ambientales, sociales y de gobernanza (ESG), cadenas productivas, desarrollo territorial, biotecnología animal, sanidad agroindustrial, bioeconomía e inventario forestal. El IICA se ha asociado con organismos como el Ministerio de Agricultura, Ganadería y Abastecimiento, el Ministerio de Desarrollo Regional y la Agencia Brasileña de Cooperación. Adicionalmente, el IICA ha realizado diálogos técnicos virtuales y ha organizado una misión técnica a Brasil de un grupo de 21 paraguayos para aprender sobre gestión de recursos hídricos, entre otras actividades. El IICA también ha organizado el Premio Mujer Rural Española.
