IICA partnered with other institutions to prepare a Green Climate Fund (GCF) Simplified Approval Process Concept Note for the St. Kitts and Nevis Climate Smart Agriculture Project; also involved training extension officers and farmers in greenhouse gas monitoring and record keeping. It collaborated to increase farmer participation in the Caribbean Climate Responsive Agriculture Forum and prioritized Agricultural Health and Food Safety, providing technical support for disease surveillance and detection, and successfully support the development of an urban farm and training center for persons with disabilities. It supported small and medium enterprises through various initiatives, including providing packing material and supporting trade efforts. El IICA se asoció con otras instituciones para preparar una Nota Conceptual del Proceso de Aprobación Simplificado del Fondo Verde para el Clima (GCF, por sus siglas en inglés) para el Proyecto de Agricultura Climáticamente Inteligente de St. Kitts y Nevis; también involucró la capacitación de extensionistas y agricultores en el monitoreo y mantenimiento de registros de gases de efecto invernadero. Colaboró para aumentar la participación de los agricultores en el Foro de Agricultura Adaptada al Clima del Caribe y priorizó la salud agrícola y la inocuidad de los alimentos, brindando apoyo técnico para la vigilancia y detección de enfermedades, y apoyó con éxito el desarrollo de una granja urbana y un centro de capacitación para personas con discapacidad.
