The activities carried out by the Trinidad and Tobago Delegation of 2022 are identified, focus to needs and interests of the country such as; supported the evaluating of safeguarding systems through an analysis of the National Emergency Response Plan (ERP) that deals with the tomato leaf miner, about better equipped to activate a full-scale response should pests of this nature; collaborated to conduct the first training session on a composting site that was established in 2021 at the CARDI Field Station; beekeepers strengthened their capacities through a workshop on queen bee rearing, disease management, and monitoring of queen bee stock; also, implemented a training course on animal husbandry to extension officers and farmers. Se identifican las actividades que realizó la Delegación de Trinidad y Tobago en el 2022, enfocadas a necesidades e intereses del país tales como; apoyó la evaluación de los sistemas de salvaguardia a través de un análisis del Plan Nacional de Respuesta a Emergencias (ERP) que se ocupa del minador de la hoja del tomate, acerca de estar mejor equipado para activar una respuesta a gran escala en caso de plagas de esta naturaleza; colaboró para realizar la primera sesión de capacitación en un sitio de compostaje que se estableció en 2021 en la Estación de Campo CARDI; apicultores fortalecieron sus capacidades a través de un taller sobre crianza de crianza de abejas reina, manejo de enfermedades y monitoreo del stock de estas; además, implementó un curso de capacitación en zootecnia para extensionistas y agricultores.
