Se identifican brevemente las principales actividades realizadas por el Instituto en Uruguay durante el 2022, con respecto a las necesidades e interés del país tales como; alianzas con instituciones públicas para la elaboración de una estrategia nacional para el desarrollo de las cadenas de base agropecuarias; se realizó un estudio completo sobre el sector forestal y plantea líneas de acción a través de nuevas políticas, además de realizar una guía técnica para la construcción en madera y unificar normativas departamentales; creación de un hub regional de ganadería sostenible y la inclusión técnica; además de generar asistencia técnica en temas relacionados al sistemas silvopastoriles, al sector frutijortícola, extensión agrícola y ganadería sostenible y proyectos en el rubro de arroz. The activities carried out by the Delegation while 2022 are briefly identified, focus to needs and interest of the country such as; alliances with public institutions to the elaboration of a national strategy for the development of agricultural value chains; a complete study on the forestry sector and outlines lines of action through new policies, a technical guide for wood construction and unifying departmental regulations; creation of a regional hub for sustainable livestock and technical inclusion; In addition to generating technical assistance on issues related to silvopastoral systems, the fruit and vegetable sector, agricultural extension and sustainable livestock, and projects in the rice field.
