La multifuncionalidad en las especies arbóreas (EA) es un criterio importante para productores rurales a la hora de seleccionar y conservar árboles en usos ganaderos. Obtiene beneficios adicionales mientras perdura la vida útil de un árbol. En promedio un productor puede obtener ingresos por hectárea a 25 años si realiza los cambios en composición y abundancia de EA en un potrero de su finca. Multifunctionality in tree species is an important criterion for farmers when selecting and preserving trees for livestock uses. The results of the study determined the constraints and motivations that farmers observed on their farms in the application of the idea of ideal pastures‟ . Over 25 years by increasing the composition and abundance of multifunctional trees in their farms.
